More from Maureen about this episode…
We all created mechanisms as children that served many purposes - they were created so that we could adapt to our environments (very intelligent, by the way!) yet may no longer serve us as adults. One of my unseen contracts was around a vow of being the silent one. The funny thing is is that I knew, even back then, that it wasn’t my authentic self! As a little wise one sitting on my mother’s lap, I heard again and again how quiet I was. This served to help keep a calmer environment in my home and also assured that I wouldn’t get in trouble. Can you relate at all? Listen in to hear some of the many ways we make these vows and how to create ones that serve the you, now. Thanks for listening!
