Standing on the Precipice of 2026

Here we are in this newest of years, the Chinese Zodiac Year of the Fire Horse. It’s been said that 2025 was our year of massive shedding and leaving behind - and I’m also told that this shedding is continuing at the start of 2026 - so if you still feel like you are ‘in it’, you are not alone, and keep going. In fact, the Year of the Fire Horse begins February 17th in the Chinese calendar. 

No matter where you find yourself in life, you are right where you are meant to be. This sounds cliche, I know, but it’s the truth. This is not a race yet an ongoing journey of your unfolding and remembering why you came to live out this lifetime. Now that’s juicy stuff - to realize that every step you’ve taken, decision you’ve made, all of your choices, add up to the you who stands here today. There is so much information within you as to your mission on Earth!

What are you shedding and leaving behind? Perhaps it’s a pattern of overgiving or people pleasing or holding porous boundaries, always sacrificing yourself for others. (If this is you, please know that you are not alone and have a whole sisterhood beside you working to undo outdated ways!) Maybe you would love to move from overdoing in your life to more presence and states of being. If so, what beautiful intentions you hold and the energy is here supporting these wishes.

Also, when the shedding or letting go processes are talked about, they are ongoing processes in our lives. Because you were so conditioned as a child to take on other’s belief systems and act accordingly to what your environment demanded of you, you’ve likely developed internalized voices of another or behaviors that are not a true reflection of who you are now.

So, as you stand on this precipice, what are you desiring to create in 2026? What personal truths want to come forward? Is there anything that wants to be said that was previously left unspoken? Your unique way of seeing things and expressing yourself is of utmost importance to the collective shift that is happening. A shift towards love over fear and collaboration over competition. I, for one, am here for it all.
